Myofunctional therapy is a specialized form of therapy that focuses on the muscles of the face, mouth, and tongue and how they work together for proper breathing, chewing, swallowing, and speaking. Through simple, targeted exercises, myofunctional therapy helps retrain these muscles to function in healthier, more natural patterns.

Many people develop habits such as mouth breathing, tongue thrust, or improper tongue posture that can affect dental development, sleep quality, facial growth, and overall oral health. Myofunctional therapy addresses these issues by strengthening and coordinating the muscles of the orofacial system, helping the tongue rest in the proper position, encouraging nasal breathing, and supporting healthy muscle function.
